Which do you like better gg VIII MR or 9 MR
just wondering what you guys think
my opionion on both 8 mr pros 1000 made in US factory blacked out wing based off fq-400 styling wise minus a few things cons interior seats 9 MR pros Mivvec engine better seats 20g turbo cons painted inside of wing (preference I HATE that) not a lot of engine mods to date ie cams and things like that correct me if im wrong but do no jack the thread) Personally i may be a lil bias seen as i own a gg 8 mr but i like it solely because there were only 1000 units made and at that time if you saw a gg evo you know it was a MR. Wish mitsu would have kept gg soley a MR color! what do you guys think |
almost identical on the outside besides a couple little things but on the inside mivec and the 10.5 makes the difference

Nothing against the 8 but the 9 is just a better car hence my choice.

The IX does not have a 20G turbo. Its a 16G with a bigger compressor housing.

I have had both the VIII and the IX (both GSR) and I like the IX hands down.

I wish they would have kept gg solely for MR, but it is popular. How many MR's did they make this year. I thought they limited production in 06 also.

What is wrong with the Evo 8 seats?, They feel stiffer than the Evo 9's.

Other than intake cams all other mods are out there for the 9. AEM doesn't have EMS ready yet for the 9 but with the flexibility of ECUFlash that's not as big a deal unless you're really going for big power.

the 8 mr was more exotic, due to the fact there wasnt to many made in the first place. also as other said before me, when you seen a GG evo you knew its a MR. unforunately they made it available for the gsr this time around on the 9. but i would have to say i would take the 8 MR because i felt it was more or a rare car. i see oh so many 9 mr's daily. 8 mr's on the other i still see very few on the road.
