Hello ppl. winter is pretty much gone and I am craving for a little fun with my new IX, but I don't see many import enthusiasts here in La Crosse, if any, so I was wondering if you are or know of some people that are around the area.

bttkcooled good to meet you, I have yet to visit your city. I read that AMS is participating in the Import War 2 event at Union Grove, really near you, and I was wondering if u've ever gone to one and if the regular Joe can participate?

ppl I have done a little search on Gran Lake Dragaway park down in Union Grove and there is going to be a Race for Free event on Saturday Apr. 14th open for everyone and I thought this might interest you. They are closed today so I'm not sure what's the registration process but I'll find out Monday and let you know.

there is no registration process other than the day of. You show up, tell them you want to race, fill out a little card with some info, pass tech and then you race. I might be there if my methanol injection pump is back from repairs.

hey Tom thanks for clarifying that. I was also wondering if you'd need a helmet to race a stock IX, if so I'd have to ship it form home. Obvously I've never raced this car thus my very stupid question.

Sorry, kind of thread jacking but I think we should set something up for dropfest. Its the first weekend in june and there is a HUGE carshow, 1/4 mile races and alot of other competitions. Its up by Appleton. www.dropfest.com check it out.
