Can't post in the For Sale section? - ANSWER WITHIN
 

You must have at least 50 posts and have been a member for 60days to post in the for sale section. This rule is in place to inhibit scammers and spammers.

These posts must be in the relevant sections of the site which disincludes regional and off topic. "Post whoring" of useless posts repeatedly to get to the 50 post limit will result in an infraction.

Once you reach 50 posts, the system will take some time to update. This is typically as much as a day before your account is updated and you are allowed to post in the for sale

For a little over two years now our classifieds haven't permitted sale of non-automotive items. The reasoning for this is simple. If anything goes in the classifieds section this site would quickly turn into eBay or Craigslist.

Recently forum members have requested clarification of these rules and here they are:

All classifieds sections are only for sale and purchase of automotive related items. A great example of how to use the classifieds would be you selling your shiny down pipe which you bought but decided not to install. A poor example of how to use the classifieds would be your PS3 that you no longer want and need to sell so you can make your car payment.

I wish people would read this thread.
