Question about HID's
 

I recently bought a kit from a vendor which will remain nameless at the momment. When the kit came it was packaged horribly. Both of the shipping caps on the bulbs were cracked and one of the covers on the filiment that runs out and along the bulb was cracked as well. My question is will the bulb still work with that cover being cracked? I wish I had a picture to explain what I'm talking about a little better. It's not the bulb itself but the wire that comes out of the tip of the bulb and bends around and runs down the side of it. There's a little cover on it like a heatshield or something.

it will work but in couple of days its gonna go out i suggest u return them for a new set i had a similiar problem with my HIDs

Yeah, call the shop and tell them the post office f'd up your package!
