For your first car I would leave it stock for a while until you were familiar with it.

Take a HPDE driving course/event to get more familiar with your car when driven at the limit.

Good luck.

With what you listed, your looking at a 400hp+/$40k+ car.

How in the world did you convince your parents that this is a good first car?

Import Junky Nov 24, 2007 04:17 PM

Wish I had a car like this when I was young. Probably would have crashed it though. Hey if you can convince your Dad to hook you up then more power to ya brother.

Thanks :)

I'm not going to do all those things like right away.
I want to get the feeling of the car and everything b4 I actually do stuff to it.

HPDE?

Well my dad is really cool when it comes to cars.
like he's getting an NSX pretty soon.
My mom thinks I'm going to street race.
she's against me getting it.
but it's all good.
when it comes to cars she has no say.
it's all the pops haha

I wish i had rich parent growing up, my first car was payed for by me from mowing lawns and it was a 92 honda civic hatchback lmao. good luck and dont wreck it like the other kids.

Hey if your parent have that much cash and want to buy a evo IX you can buy mine for a good price :)

Meh, I had a list like this a couple years back.

Good luck, I found out that I had nowhere near enough money to begin modding my car like that. Make sure to put in maintenence, tires, gas, insurance all in your figures there man. It sure adds up.

My parents are going to pay for my gas and maintenance and possibly everything else.
