Hey Y'all, i'm a new kid!
 

Hey peeps, i'm new to this forum. I actually just found it online recently. I recently bought a 2002 OZ rally, in the fastest color of all, lightning yellow! I haven't decided if i'm going to do anything to it yet, is it really worth it?
Anyways, i'm 18 and i live in maine, and i graduate this june. With college coming up, i wonder if it is worth it to do anything to my car, shouldn't i just want a nice relaxful ride, or do i want to add some speed and style? When i feel ike driving fast i just take my bf's S4 for a spin, and that enuff of a fix for me.

So i was driving my bf's car today, cause i started a new job and i wanted to ball it there, and on my way back there was a punk in front of me, leaning half way across the car driving his new maroon WRX with temp-plates. Naturally i showed him up.
What can i do to make my car "show-up worthy" though??? any suggestions?

Unfortunately you're not going to be able to do much to a Lancer to "show up" anybody without getting anything short of a turbo. None are out as of yet but if you want to drive to Santa Fe Springs, CA, RoadRace (www.roadracemotorsports.com) will more than likely hook you up;) . We've got all the basics though as of right now...'cept for maybe a nice aftermarket strut. Check out the Parts Index thread in General or inquire about "the list". Oh yeah, and welcome if I didn't say so before. :D

no matter what the heck any race shop is going to do for you and your lancer...unless your paying big bucks for a better engine and big ass turbo...you better stay the hell out of the way from those WRXs....they'll eat you up alive :yum:

Come on, i'm not that stupid, i know i am way out of my league with a wrx in my lancer, what i meant was what can i do to my car to make it faster:dunno: What kind of cars performance wise are comparable to the lancer?
