coilover Q's
if i get ajustable coilovers(hks) do i just need a regular alinement?
what do i set the top ajustable things at for normal street use?:confused: |

The top adjustable thing is the compression/rebound knob. You use it to make the shocks stiffer when lowering the car.
I guess you are installing these coilovers so you are going to need to do two things. First set your ride height using the adjustment nut, it moves the spring up and down) and then secondly set the correct compression setting for the height look online for your coilovers or book that it came with for guidence. After all that is done you can just have a regular alignment done. |

After all that is done you can just have a regular alignment done. +1 or if you really want to put those coil overs to work i highly recommend getting the car corner balanced. Other wise you just have a really stiff unbalanced car... Cheers! |
