EVO's In Alabama

Hey guys im looking to purchase a track around Cottonwood, Alabama. I was wondering if there is any evos, dsm, or what it is like down there as far as cars and tuning.

hey man, i am new to alabama as well, but we have a whole thread in the SouthEast section of all us alabama evo owners!! Im from Hunstville/Madison area i own a Transmission shop!
Where is Cottonwood?!

the track im looking at is called Dothan Dragway. Its an 1/8th mile, but we have the possibility of making it a 1/4 mile. I was planning on opening up a shop down around that area and bring dyno tuning as well as parts installs, full motor builds and all that goodness. Im just trying to see what all is around that area. How is your tranny business doing? does it seem like there is alot of imports around that way?

business is good... some weeks packed some dead but its good!!

you definatly need to make it a 1/4 mile if you buy it!! a good shop sounds good, i want my engine built bad!! maybe we could work out a deal haha!!

i have seen since i been here a lot of ricers!! not a whole lot of fast but i havent been out to much yet!

cool, another alabama person. I get the impression that the import scene down in the wiregrass area is a bit.. sparse, but that could be just as much a result of lower population densities in that corner of the state. Dothan has the added benefit of begin right there next to the military base, so you will get some influx from that.

sounds good man, ill def keep you updated with everything. Right now we have a shop in Blairsville, PA, lately we have been packed so i would really hate to leave it to start up a branch down here but I guess ill still have the track to fall back on if the shop doesnt take off right off the bat. I take it you do dsm and evo trannys
