Ok, so last night me and my friends noticed a light on my friends Evo 8 MR flashing and it's on my Evo 9 does ANYONE know what it is ??? it's to the right of the fasten seatbelt light and above the LANCER symbol... we CAN NOT figure out what it is.. we did everything from shining flashlights on it to a laser to maybe try to light it up and we couldnt tell what it was... it's just bugging me now that i dont know what it is... and it's not in the maual and we cant find it online... it's now day light and i kinda want to take the dash apart to figure it out... haha someone please tell us what it is before these idots break their cars... :) :lol:

it would help if we knew what color it was. maybe it was the key... for your immobilizer?? pretty sure its located there

didn't your car come with a manual? it should have the layout of the guage lights on there

it's not the immobilizer... the immobilizer is under the lancer symbol.. take a harrrrd look it's on the top right of the lancer symbol... haha bet u cant guess what it is either !!! lol

How can it be the intercooler spray light when they first came with MRs in '05 when they got rid of the sprayer? I have a '05 MR that doesn't have a IC sprayer. Suggesting to the OP to read the manual.

Your right it shouldnt light up but the spot is still there. I have an 05 with no I/C sprayer but I used the spot to tell me when my meth is running low.

what does the symbol look like and what color does it glow ?? lol im still stumped... aparently we've all concluded it was for the i/c sprayer but, if i ever wanted to use it where's the plug located just in case and does anyone have a pic of it light up ????

I will work on a pic. Mine didnt have a bulb behind it since its not used on our cars. I used an led behind it to light it up. Thats why everyones confused as to why yours is lighting up if there is no bulb there. Must be posessed:lol:
