First of all.. I'd like to know if anybody can help me out with aftermarket part links.. etc.. I'm new to the DSM scene so.. any links will help! =)

Secondly, what kind of problems should I expect out of the Lancer? Has it served everyone well so far? What warning signs for problems should I look for?

Third, what color should I get? I'm torn between the black, yellow, or metallic grey..

They see to be pretty trouble free if you know how to drive a 5spd

The Thunder Grey looks HOT imho. I'm still sorta almost kinda regretting getting black instead of it. Oh well. :dunno: :D Black's a lot easier to color match. :p

Yo i think that the silver looks hot, everyone has yellow, don't get yellow.:mitsu:

dont get yellow like the rest of us did...lets get some rainbow effect and disperse the colors more....go for the grey

Just try to tell me every third car you see isn't silver. A traffic jam on the turnpike looks like someone spilled a jar of change. :rolleyes:

I'm so unbelievably sick of silver cars.

My two favorite colors are the white and the gray, both have a
nice pearl quality that aren't found on many other vehicles in this class
but basic black is always high on my list.

Just to save you from any future flames from a very enthusiastic
corner of the tuner world... DSM stands for Diamond Star Motors
and refers to the plant in Normal, Illinois that used to be a joint
venture between Mitsubishi and Chrysler. Now the plant is
wholly owned by Mitsu and is called MMMA (Mitsubishi Motors Manufacturing of America) Lots of cars were/are produced at this plant
but when you hear it spoken, most of the time it means the 1G Eclipse, Talon, or Laser or 2g Eclipse, Talon. The Avenger (Stratus coupe), Sebring, Galant, and later the Outlander also come from this plant,
but don't have the following. The Lancer comes from the Kurashiki
plant in Japan.

Lancers, Mirages and other "C" class chassis Mitsubishis are sometimes referred to as CSM's though. :)
