jack/lift points on evo 9's?
 
im looking to jack my car up and clean my brake calipers. i see the jack points for the rear. but where are the jack points for the front? any one have pics out ther of their evo on a lift. thanks

no pics but if u look under the car in the front ull see a tow hook on the frame. its dead center. u can jack from that spot. Or right behind the front tires on the frame there are some jack points too. u cant miss them. good luck!

simple jack it from the diff and put to jack stands under the rails along the side of the car

What about on the a-arms, that is typically where I Jack my cars up ( I haven't been under a evo yet, should own one with in the next month)

Alot of times the pinch weld is only good to Jack the car up with the factory Jack

You can get under the car to do the rear diff fluid without jacking it up. That is unless you are really fat. :lol:

I'm tempted to mill my jackstand tops so they match the pinchweld perfectly.

ALSO, do yourself a favor and go buy a real hockey puck for your jack. Measure the pinch weld and cut it into the hockey puck with a table saw. If you do it right, you will distribute the force nicely with the hockey puck.
