Can you go and see it in person?

Only things that are a little odd are the tein springs.. hopefully theyre not the type s springs (they are horrible). The Exedy clutch usually comes with an exedy flywheel, why did he go with the ACT instead? Who worked on the car? Experienced mechanic? Built 5 speed is nice, but what happened to the original tranny, sounds like either a rough launch or something...?

the car looks clean a lot of mods though you never know how reliably the car was built, one of my friends bought an evo with a lot of mods and the engine blew three weeks after he bought it find the shop that modded it and see what they think of the car

^+1... Go speak to who built it if it wasn't the owner... Also, DEFINITELY test drive! Don't be cute and just take it on a weak little joyride, boost that bad boy and see if it holds up and how it handles the boost, check for leaks (air, fluids when parked etc...) The car was made to go fast, so do it to it, better you be thorough now than get it and blow her a few months in...

too many mods for my taste...too many "what if" questions about this car.

Technically if everything as stated with good mechanics etc..i think its a good deal. +1casper3043 tho too many mods for my taste, its alot more rewarding to mod yourself IMO

too many mods = too many things to make you go hmmm...if you really want it, get a mechanic friend (esp. one named bo who knows evos) to go check it out with you - test drive it for sure and beat the hell out of it to see if it can take a beating

major parts replaced (trans) and mixed clutch parts = abuse.

your getting a good price for having all those mods, but as others have indicated, modding can and often does introduce other issues unless alot of care has gone into the implimentation and installation of the mods.

Probably why lots of peeps seek that rare and elusive bone stock car in good shape for the same price, then mod it so they know the quality of the work done on it.

Good luck if you do it!

Yeah, I agree, when I test drove my evo I launched it out of the parking lot of the stealership. The sales guy was tearing up by the time we got back.

Sounds similar to the car I just bought.

I researched the car thoroughly and spoke to the shop that did all the mods. When I made the purchase, I felt comfortable that I was getting a well put together car. So far so good...

I wanted to find something modded correctly and making good power. I think I scored... time will tell.

Definitely DO NOT buy a modded car from a dealership though!
