Lookin at 2 Evo's. which one should i buy?

I've been looking to buy an Evo and have two choices so far...

1. http://tinyurl.com/ybjclcl asking for $21K 2005 w/ 12,400 miles. My buddy who's an auto-tech looked at it w/ me said that it's been in a front end collision, new front bumper and hood but no frame damage. Looks like the back passenger door had some dents banged out, and it has some scratches. Family owned lot (seem kinda shady) that is selling it, they bought it re-possessed w/ 3Kmiles on it and their kid put 10Kmiles on it in highschool and has been chilling in their lot. Has exhaust and BOV, test drove it yesterday and it pulls to the right slightly, kid said he had curbed it. My buddy said the only thing that concerns him is that there are some scratches in the engine bay that looks like someone mayy have been dinkin around in there, and that an airbag sensor is loose and he's never seen that before.

2. http://tinyurl.com/yajxm49 asking $22K 2006, w/ 36,500 miles. Immaculate condition, seems like the owner has taken really good care of it. It has a few mods on it which i'm kinda weary of because i dont want to have to do a lot of maintenance on it.

So, pretty much the same price but one has suspect history w/ low miles. Other one is in great condition but w/ lots of mods. Opinions?

Get the IX Mivec FTW!

my pick would be choice 2.. it looks like it has been taken care off..
but honestly, thats lil too much for both cars.. You can lower the price on either one.

IX will be my choices and she looks good with those rims. LOL

or tell the VIII owner to lower it to 18 and get it. LOL

P.S. Repo'ed after 3K miles? That gives you your answer right there.

Yeah I wouldnt buy the repo unless it was a super good deal, which 21k is not for sure. My vote is opption number to, a well taken care of car is worth the extra money.

Get the 9 looks like it has nice wheels and cleaner. Get carfax reports too.

I like the side mirrors on the 9's.

Definitely get the first one. Let a smart purchaser get the second. (i kid)

Go with the ix but get the price down.. Stay away from that viii..

get the IV but the 8 does have some low miles
