I guess I'll say Hi...
 

Hi everyone.

I'm not new to the site, I've been a member since 2008 but never got around to posting.
Figured I'd say hi and introduce myself.
In 08, I bought a '03 VIII off a member on here, within the next few months the car got hit twice, first time a girl spun out in my blind spot and hit my quarter panel/pass rear door and sent me into a guard rail. I got the car back after 4 months (3 weeks before memorial day weekend), I went away for the weekend and came back to the car being smashed in my front yard. Someone ran off the road and totaled it.

After that I got a '04 F-350 CrewCab Long Bed Dually yo tow a trailer around, I was basically out of the whole evo scene, I still had a 99 miata, caged, built 1.8L w/gt3076r, on coilovers.
In that time I managed to buy a '76 BMW 2002 and a '96 Midori EK hatch Civic w/ a b16 swap, on coilovers.

Both of the last two cars, needed work, the 2002 is a glass out restoration that I'm working on right now and the Civic needed a new engine and some paint work. I decided to sell the EK hatch and I'm looking for an EVO once again after almost a 12 month break from the last one.


This time around instead of a silver on, on 18x9.5" Rota P45r's and stance coilovers, with a AMS TBE, megan o2 housing, BC 272's and an evo 9 turbo on e85.
I want a white or black one this time around on stance coilovers, with just some "mild mods", which means I'll end up probably with a 2.3l stroker and a gt35r.


Well, I just wanted to introduce myself, I'll post some pictures of the past and present cars as soon as I get a chance to take some (most likely this weekend sometime).

I just picked up my "new" evo VIII, it's a 2004 white RS, on IX enkei rims, turboxs TBE, GSC280 cams, SC61 turbo, 44mm tial WG, 50mm tial BOV and a 2.3 stroker.

now it's time to slap it back together after installing some more mods.
