Lancer OZ Exhaust

:confused: Can anyone help me with finding out some information about the exhaust on the lancer OZ. I want to put a new exhaust on mine, and I really don't want to spend the $$$$ for the RMR Exhaust. What I really want to do is simply replace the muffler with a nice stainless steel muffler, but I can't find out anywhere what the size of the pip is on the Lancer, is it 2 1/2 ???????

2". If all you want is a new muffler then you may want to consider just getting one welded on as well. It's not a simple bolt on, but you'll have a lot more choices and price will be similar.

If money is an issue, than just having a universal one welded on at your local muffler shop would be your best bet. It probably wouldn't do too much in the way of performance, but it would fill the cutout in the bumper a lot nicer and depending on what brand, should end up sounding better.

If you dont want cat-back, (which is what i would got for) then just search for universal mufflers on the web, they fit any car. Magnaflow, Apex, Borla, DragunFire, HKS and many many more.
