MR Boost Gauge (pack)...

So just a quick question guys. I would put this in the other area of the forum but it seems to me that mods move my stuff back to here (probably due to my relatively new account). Anyway, I have an 06 MR and it of course has the factory gauge pack under the hvac. However I have noticed that my boost gauge seems to be off by exactly "5". When at idle it reads way high in vacuum, and then once its off it stops not at the "0" but at "5" vac. So i'm just curious why this might be off and how I can calibrate it properly.
In addition, I have an Autometer boost gauge (in psi) that reads spot on. I do know for a fact that the mitsu one is off.

And one last question... is the middle gauge (in the pack) oil temp? And if so, what's normal operating temp?

Thanks a bunch guys!

Cheers

You can't calibrate it. If it reads below zero with the engine off then your gauge is broken.. It's pretty common actually, I've seen a bunch of stock gauges for sale with the neddle below zero.
