What's up everyone? Im the new guy. Lol.
Just joined the forum as I have a couple questions to ask so gonna go ahead and introduce myself and go find a spot to ask my questions. Lol. I go by Si0uxR1der and Self on the interwebz. I recently snagged a clean 09 Lancer DE with 88k on the thing for next to nothing (other than an hour and a half round trip drive to get it which isn't much). I paid more for my damn 01 Explorer than I did this thing and my Explorer was misfiring like crazy and had a few other small issues. I like this DE so far (except no cruise control and the lack of other small things which shall be addressed) and really just bought it to build it. It is my first car that's not an "american made car". I own a 2001 Eddie Bauer Explorer with a 302, a 97 Explorer Sport with its 3rd blown 4.0 SOHC due to the their flawful timing chain setup and a new to me 97 Explorer with a 302 V8 as a donor for my Sport. Got that thing cheap too and am looking forward to spring tear down as it's winter up here and I don't have a garage at my home unfortunately. I also have an older Ford based motorhome in great condition, a 91 Kawaskai ZX600 which the motor for it is laying on my work bench downstairs in my laundry room. Lmao. I wish i had a damn garage! Then i have my daily bike in the spring through fall which is an 07 Kawasaki ZZR600 and I love it. All together for all my campers. vehicles, and bikes I have spent like 6 maybe 7k max to bring them all home which ain't much at allllll. If I had the money I might consider an EVO down the road. But for now I wanna get the most out of this cheap little DE. But anyway. Thanks for having me here and hopefully I can get some questions answered about swapping some stuff into this Lancer DE.
