Normal drivetrain noise?

You know when you are in a lifted truck and you get that loud tire noise when decelerating or accelerating. Anyone else with an 05 evo getting that same noise? I had an 03 but do not recall whether or not the noise was there. I really have to put the radio up to drown out the drivetrain noise. I do not mind it too much but I have to say my wife hates being in my loud car...fine by me! lol

Question

Explain? Is it your throw-out bearing? Is it even in your clutch?

It isnt the clutch or TOB it is more like a humming sound but I am not sure if it is coming from the tires. Are these tires normally this noisy? It sounds like the TC gear noise but I am not sure. My 03 had two TC's break and it definately doesnt sound like the TC is going. No big deal...I will take it to the stealership and let one of their techs really f*k it up....lol
