Question Vibrating noise during rain?

I have noticed the last 2 times it has rained, while driving on the highway at speeds of 65-70mph, every now and then i get this quite loud sound. It almost sounds like a tire or something is rubbing in the fender-well but my cars not lowered any and on stock wheels. It concerned me so much the 1st time I pulled off the highway on the way to work in the morning to do a quick check over. i cant come up with anything. It almost feels like it can be in the driveshaft but it only happens when it's raining and on the highway. Is something going on here or am I over reacting?

Thanks to any help,
Dylan

take a look at your exhaust back by the rear U-joint, bet they're real close.

Ok, I have access to a lift so I'll check that out tomorrow morning. If that's the case, is there anything I can do about it?

Loosen all the bolts move the exhaust away from the drive shaft hold it there and tighten everything back up. You may want to bent some of the mounts while your under there and don't be afraid to use a pry-bar of some sort.

Well I checked it out and there really not that close. There's probably a 2''-2.5'' gap.

I'd almost bet it's the exhaust hitting something. Did you try to move it in all directions to see if it his something?

Yeah^ when I hear strange noises like a rattle or clunk I will play mokey man yanking and tugging on everything. 9X out of 10 it's soggie exhaust hangers letting the pipe bang around.

I didnt really tug on it too much but I will lift it up again and see how the downpipe is. That MIGHT be the problem bc of where the noise is. I'll double check.

-I see I'm not the only one with this problem though.
