I have this "friend"
I have this "friend" who has driven a car with manual transmission only 2 times but is interested in buying a ralliart with manual transmission . Since his skills arn't that great just yet , would anyone advise against learning a little better on a new car ? . Could it hurt the car at all? .... what would you guys do if you were me? ...er I mean my "friend" , lol
P.S. , I only stalled a couple times I swear

I knew how to drive stick and had not driven it for 7 years before I got my EVO. So what I did was take driving lessons to refresh my memory and then just get the car and practice! Or have a friend take you out in there car till you get it! In a week you will be a pro!!! Trust me we all make mistakes, just more than others! (God, knows I have!!!! ) Just take your time and be patient! Good Luck!

these cars arent like the model t, most of them can handle a lot of abuse i would say you would be fine learning on that car as long as you know where the brake is and theres no mods to the car

The thing for your "friend" to do is go and test drive the Ralliart, make sure to drive the color you DONT want, put some miles on it then get a diffrent color that way your ragging out someone elses tranny.... not very nice but hey, it does the job.

find a friend w/ a 5 year old or greater car who doesnt mind letting you try it. Just get the hang of going, turning, stopping while changing gears. Then go buy yours. Just take it easy. Try to get away from the beginner's method of starting (give lots of gas, slowly let out clutch), and stopping (clutch and brake all the time). It's 2 wheel drive, so it's not like a beginner on an Evo.
