Evo VII GT-A mods, where to start?
Hi all,
I've just bought a fresh import, 2002 Evo VII GT-A.
It's just a stock Evo 7 with a new K&N panel filter I fitted and a dyno tune using ECUTEK software.
I've already sent it in to get dyno tuned for our poor Aussie fuel, where they did an inital power run which came up at 120.4 kw at the wheels, 26 dyno runs later the final result as 144.9 Kw at the wheels on 20 psi.
I've since bought a new HDI intercooler and piping (the old cooler was damaged) a 3" turbo back exhaust with test pipe (I'm worried about throwing a CEL already) and a Walbro 255Lph fuel pump.
The auto trans strength is a concern, but I will cross that bridge when I come to it.
What other engine / tuning mods would you recommend for a GT-A

your next step will be...
1) Get a wideband, i use innovate
2) get a grimmspeed boost controller and set it to 25 psi
3) get a 3 " o2 housing, like nvidia or a screamer pipe
4) 3 " air intake, forced performance have a silicone one
5) gsc s2 cams
6) ngk iridium grade 8
7) beatrush propeller shaft bushing (fast respond)
8) obx aluminium pulley kit (fast respond)
9) make a tune
10) Buy a Coil on plug system like okada, spooling up or spark tech, i have okada and i will fell the torque from mid to high range
10) get a big turbo like forced performance green, or the ones fro mapperformance
with those mods and the stuff you have you will be around 330 whp
i have 300whp on pump gas with that, less the cams
