New Evo guy to SoCal

Hey guys, just picked up a 2011 GSR out of Vegas and am living in Garden Grove CA right now.

Car is not stock, and I am trying to join that 400hp club as well. haha
The biggest question I have right now is injectors. Should I go with 1300s if I have possible plans on turbo upgrade in the future?

Im new to the evo game so excuse the ignorance.. haha Any recomendations or advice is much appreciated.

Here is my current mod list:
grimspeed 3 port EBCS
injen intake
injen uicp
Ultimate racing turbo back
3.5" ETS fmic
Fuel injector clinic 1100cc
Map walbro 255 iph fuel pump
Jegs 40 micron inline filter

Thanks again!

-Brian

I dont right now. Have a date set for the 23rd of this month at COBB, and Im debating on going E85. Trying to figure out if I want any other mods before then so I dont need to get tuned twice..

COBB is saying that they are not big fans of the fuel injector clinic injectors.. Might end up selling them and trying to pick up a set of Injector dynamics. Opinions?

in the end, it is all up to you. i am sure all tuners can tune any injector, it is just a personal preference i think.

I have been super unsure about tuning down here due to just moving down from Portland. I am currently scheduled with COBB just because that is what I know from up north. Any of you guys had any issues with them? They seem like a good group of dudes.

I dont think so, they didnt ask me to buy the injectors from them, just gave his opinion on what injectors he would run. Basically was just saying that I should get IDs and if I do I might as well get 1300s just in case I want to do an upgraded turbo kit. Any ideas?

Jon Drenas aka BakaUnchi owns 5150 Racing. The only tuner besides Mike at Road Race Engineering I would trust with my car.
