So my buddy was able to get a taste of what I’ve been dealing with refurbishing my brembo’s with all the dremel work and endless sanding by hand....well they are finally almost done...got some paint on them
Just need to throw on the new stickers and some clear coat 😬
Pretty happy with the outcome but next time around they will be taken off and sent to powdercoat

First thing...My opinion on my experience with painting my calipers sucked!! So much time and effort to be very unhappy with the outcome after the paint cured...temps were not ideal and the moisture in the air made for bubbling and some “frost” looking finish after the paint dried overnight.....so, after the holidays I will be sending them to powdercoat with a full rebuild. On a positive note the calipers are now black and they finish off the look of the bronze wheels very nicely.
The Ohlins ride amazing and I still have to play with the dampening some off of the factory specs that Ohlins recommends. The Toyo Proxes have such awesome feeling response I’m blown away honestly, but man do they hum above 60 mph hahaha
I have some more finessing in the rear to fit the 40s tire but it shouldn’t take but a little camber with the rears already rolled.
The fitment with these wheels is spot on! Pics

So no rubbing? Did you have to relocate the rear bumper bolt? How about on the front wheel arches at/near full steering lock?

Only rubbed on a few bumps. The rear has some camber bolts that should give me the few mm that I need so there is zero rubbing. No need to relocate the rear bumper bolt. I sprayed some rubberized undercoating in all the wheel arches and the tires barely rubbed off the coating in the front. On full lock it does rub but very minimal. All these little adjustments could more likely have been alleviated by running the 35 series sidewall. All in all I’m very happy with the setup I just want to go a little lower.
