After my old '99 Mazda 626 v6 died 2 weeks ago at 102k miles. I decided a transmission job was going to be too much trouble and decided to upgrade. I picked up at 2015 Lancer ES w/ 5 speed manual for a great price (See: My Bank Account!). I know its not an EVO or anything spectacular, but it looks kinda cool and is a standard. My mazda was auto... I hated it, but that car treated me well over the years. I am wanting to do a few upgrades mainly Radio, Wheels/Tires, maybe an intake and exhaust, Lights, and Body Asthetics. The last time I was upgrading vehicles it was my '06 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic or my old '89 Chevy K5 Blazer. Both were extremely easy to find parts for and work on myself, but I don't know too much about these cars. Help would be appreciated. Ill spend quite a bit of time reading through before throwing out crazy questions, but no promises. I know my way around old pushrod V8's quite well, but not too well versed on these new cars.

My '06 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic is running 89HP/97Ft Lbs on a 95" S&S big bore kit with a set of woods cams with a .575 Lift and .238 duration.

Hey, great to have you join us

Spend your time in the Lancer ES forums & do your investigating. I can see youre a mechanical guy, so you will fit right in

How about a pic or 2 of the Lancer?
