New member stationed overseas
Hello everyone,
My name is Justin. Active duty military, stationed overseas and just purchased a 2012 Lancer GT, 6-sp cvt for my wife. Love the car and now makes me want to search and invest into an evo x for myself once I get back stateside. An automotive mechanic for the Air Force so no stranger to working on vehicles, passionate about making them better from factory, aka modding lol.

Hi Justin
Thanks for posting in the forum & giving us a little background. Yes, an X would be right in-line for someone like yourself
The 4B11 engine has some advantages over the older 4G63 & I have come to appreciate it more, as I have learned more about it

- Alum vs Iron block (less weight)
- Both intake & exhaust valves are on the MIVEC system vs just the intake on the 63
- 4B11 has a true 4 bolt main vs the 2 bolt on the 63 (does have the girdle)
Theres more to debate, but those are my main points
