Help to achieve 400-450WHP Evo 8

Hey guys, I’m new into Evo’s I’ve been driving my Evo 8 for a little over 6 months and wanted to start adding some mods into it to gain more HP, is a daily car and my goal is to get around 400 to 450HP max to the wheels, in my country fuel is pretty bad “90-95 Octane” and I don’t want to mess with Meth nor NOS, please let me know what’s the best setup to get there?

Current Mods:
Mishimoto Intercooler and Pipes
Mishimoto Radiator and Pipes
Mishimoto Oil Cooler Kit
3-inch Exhaust pipe from the Manifold to the backend.
3-inch AEM intake pipe
HKS Blow of valve
Wideband
AEM Boost gauges
ACT Clutch Stage 4

Parts not installed Yet:
Tomei PROCAM 270 -10.7MM Intake and 270-10.2mm Exhaust.
Tomei Retainer and Valve springs
Tomei Cam gears

I was thinking to go for an Evo 9 MR turbo but not sure if that’ll help or is a waste of money and time?

Thanks for your advice

first, Evo's are All Wheel Drive, not rear wheel. those cams plus an evo 9 turbo on e85 (not going to happen on pump gas)will get you close to 400whp dynojet. but you will need a fuel pump upgrade and at least 1200cc injectors. do some headstuds while you are in there with the cams/springs/retainers. heck maybe even do a timing belt/water pump job. you dont need the cam gears. get a better bov also. you will need a lot of boost to get to 400whp on a 9 turbo.

I agree! I have all the bolt-on's, less cams running 407/410 on the Dynojet (stock 9 motor)

Good advice above. You won't need head studs. A IX DV will be good enough. To be safe, at least 1050 injectors to reach 400. 1200s for 450. You can go slightly smaller if you trust high IDCs. The IX turbo can just barely reach 400whp (again, safely). You will be pushing it, but your cams will help.
An HTA 71 will reach 450ish and be a LOT of fun. An FP Green will do it without breaking a sweat.
Walbro 255 fuel pump is 100% necessary.
The rest of your stuff looks decent.

**edit I missed the part about fuel choices. You are limited. FP Red, maybe?

Thanks, I'm still getting useD to Evo language my bad on the RWD
Which bov will be best for the setup, for the pump upgrade I was looking into the AEM 20-1200 fuel pump but I'm not sure if the fuel we got over here will work (90-95 Octane)?

Supper! I'll see how much I'll Dyno with the stock turbo, what are the differences between an FP Red & FP Green turbos? It's a daily car and I want to get as much power as I can safely not just over boosting the turbo.

Really?! I did 358whp on the stock turbo at 25psi on ACN91, that was with stock cams.
