Hi everyone, I'm Berna from Spain, and I'm trying to learn all I can about Evo's, because I want to buy one soon
Actually I have and '07 Impreza wrx (hawkeye)

Oh yes jajajaja I have a lot of questions. I think, maybe the first would be what it's a better option, EVO 8 or 9, but I really like the 9, the 6 speed gearbox, dashboard, better looking seats, mivec, etc..
But, sometimes I read that the 6 speed gearbox have more problems than the 5 speed.... It's true?
At this moment I'm looking two EVO 9 that are for sale
One it's a EVO 9 SE
And the other it's a normal EVO 9 (I think)
So the question it's, what of this two EVO would be a better option to buy?
I don't know all the diferences between them, I need some help about that
In the pics I can see some diferences like the dashboard, rear wiper, rear lights, front lip, and the guy from the SE told me that it have 5 speed gearbox, and some little mods like exhaust, bigger injectors and tunned ecu.

I have a 9 w/the 5 speed. Yes, we have heard that the 6 speed may not be as tough as the 5. My belief is that the 6 speed works very well & may not be suited for the 1/4 mile drag strip. It must be treated w/respect & not treated harshly. No launches
The 9 has the ACD transfer case & the 8 does not
The 9 has the MIVEC head
The 9 has the larger turbo
