Switching Sides and LOVING It
Hey all,
Got an evo 9 about a few weeks ago and loving it all so far, only had Subarus but test drove an 8 a while back and just fell in love.
Currently still stock and already got some bits for it, but unfortunately my engine build plans may be paused since the clear coat is peeling pretty bad.
I've done quite a lot of reading up on these cars and on these forums but I just wanted a clearer opinion on what I should need for the mods I have.
Hoping to get close to 350whp on stock turbo, been quoted by a local tuner that all i'll need is :
- Intake pipe / Pod filter (Brought + ready to be fitted)
- 1000cc Injectors
- 255 Walbro Fuel pump (Brought + ready to be fitted)
- Lower Intercooler piping (Getting a full set soon)
- GFB G-Force Electronic Boost Controller (Fitted)
- Driftworks BOV (Came with car)
I know fuel is a big issue but in Aus we have 98 octane so kinda hoping that'll help me out a bit more, and also not wanting to get cams and springs just yet since my current budget for the tune, injectors and now fixing the clear coat is already cuting it close.
Is there anything else I'd need, any info is appreciated
Also attached a few pics of my car.
