Hello too all! I am new to the Evo scene but not to the car scene. I just picked up a 2014 MR in Rally Red Metallic. I was lucky enough to get it before it hit 60K miles. So im making a list for the dealer to do warranty work before it runs out. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to watch out for and to add to my growing list for the dealer? Thank you.

Hey Rich

Thanks for joining us on the boards. Congrats on the X

Post up a pic please

Seems like you may want to consider doing the 60K service. I own a 9 so not all that familiar w/what the X needs

That’s on my list of things to do. I got a quote from my local dealer and they want $1600 for the 60K service. About 2/3 of it is inspections and useless additives.

Good deal Rich. Yeah, most of us here prefer the DIY projects.

Thanks for posting up that pic. Looks nice from that angle

Ya definitely. As a seasoned tech I also like to do as much as possible myself, but some things, especially when under warranty, are worth taking it to the dealer. There’s NO BLANKING WAY I’m paying the $1600 for the svc, but I may have them do the trans and rear diff given the nature of there setup.
