First time Evo Owner here.

Hey guys I've just recently purchased a Evo 2 GSR from England and am having it shipped to the states. Hopefully I can find some early evo owners over here who have experience sourcing parts etc.. The car arrives in the US on march 3rd 2019. I'll post updates as I have them.

Hey Joe,
The car hasn't been officially restored. Some paint work has been done and loads of mechanical maintenance. I was happy to get a car from the uk so I could actually read the maintenance records (lol). And this car has 131,000 kms. I was very happy to find an Evo 2 in this condition. Was quite a test of patience.

Would also like to add that if anyone is looking to import a car from the UK the conversion rate from USD to GBP is very much in our favor right now and may even get better as Brexit marches on!

If you need any help when the time comes let me know. I bought this directly from the owner and arranged shipping with a great company. I’m very excited to get it. I’ve never actually seen one in person. Lol

That’s really awesome! It would be great to get your driving impressions once you’ve spent time with it.

I will gladly update everyone on the details of driving it. I pick the car up in Savannah Ga and plan and making a quick trip through Tail of The Dragon on the way home. That will tell me a lot about the car.
