Aren't the front and rear crash beams already light since they are made out of aluminum?

Actually ONLY the front bar is aluminum and weights in at about 7lbs . The rear bar is almost 37lbs

Dang it, I want real weight out of the front. You can sneeze at the back and remove 120 pounds easily.

Good point. All this weight reduction in the rear is great for drag racing. But, will actually hurt the car's balance for autox or road course racing.
