ETS Mitsubishi Evo X and Evolution X Stock Replacement Exhaust Manifold


Tubular Equal Length design, and retaining the Twin Scroll features of the stock turbocharger, the ETS Stock Replacement Manifold offers substantial improvements over the economical factory cast unit. The heart of the ETS stock replacement manifold is the Twin Merge Collectors at the turbine inlet. Unlike the factory unit, where exhaust gasses collide head on into each other, the twin ETS Merge Collectors align the exhaust flow in the direction of the turbine for fast spool and more top end power. Adding to the high flow, the equal length runners make sure all cylinders are tuned the same.

This is the same type of material and build quality we use on our 1100whp Evolution 8 and 800whp Evolution X.

The ETS Exhaust system is 100% stainless steel and made right here at our facility! The exhaust system features a 3.0" mid pipe that tucks up tightly against the underside of the vehicle giving you more ground clearance then any other exhaust on the market. The mid pipe connects to the muffler section using a 3.0" v-band connection. The v-band connection provides a leak free seal and allows for a quick change race pipe for the drag strip! The muffler section consist of two straight through resonators that route into two 4.0" round stainless steel tips. Each tip is centered perfectly in the bumper opening.

ETS Mitsubishi Evo X and Evolution X Intake




The ETS MAF Intake Includes a huge 5" inlet K+N air filter which feeds the intake pipe via the ETS EVO X MAF adapter which is milled on the ETS lathe for the perfect transition to the inlet diameter of the MAF sensor tube. With a built in dowel pin and precise inner diameter to make a 100% seal with the rubber grommet, this piece installs and fits as if it had a Mitsubishi part number. The system is then braced to the chassis with an aluminum bracket to ensure no movement or vibration. A single-piece mandrel bent 3" intake pipe makes the connection between the MAF and turbo with a smooth transition recirculation fitting for an easy connection to the BOV discharge.

The ETS Mitsubishi Evolution X Intake includes a 5.0" velocity stack making it the largest intake on the market. This intake has been proven to gain over 56whp when used with a manual boost controller at 22psi.

ETS Mitsubishi Evo X and Evolution X 3.5" MAF Adapter



The ETS Mitsubishi Evolution X 3.5" Maf Housing with Velocity Stack. Made to replace your stock housing to allow more air flow for your high horsepower Evo X. Made with a 5" wide velocity stack to allow the use of a larger filter for maximum air flow. Optional Filter & Coupler available. This is a critical component for making high horsepower on the Evo X. If your reaching .5v on your current setup, this is needed for higher air flow.

Notes:

MAF will need to be re-scaled upon installation.
Coupler is a 4.0" to 3.5" unless specified otherwise in notes.
Filter is a 5.0" filter the same filter we use in our intake kits.

The upper intercooler piping starts with a smooth mandrel bent 2.5" stock turbo outlet pipe which connects to the remainder of the hot side piping. The stock turbo outlet pipe is separate to allow it to be swapped out with the installation of our EVO X turbo kit to come so that the remainder of the upper piping can be retained. This ensures that you never have to "upgrade an upgrade" and spend more money on a new upper pipe when it comes time for a turbo kit. Making the connection from the turbo outlet pipe to the intercooler is a single-piece mandrel bent 2.5" upper intercooler pipe.



The ETS Mitsubishi Evolution X Upper Pipe removes the restrictive factory pipe which necks down to 1.75" before the turbo outlet and replaces it with a full 2.5" upper intercooler pipe which helps with throttle response as well as reliability. The factory hoses are prone to ballooning and blowing off under high boost.

The ETS Mitsubishi Evo X Lower Piping Kit removes the factory rubber hoses which are prone to ballooning and popping off under higher boost pressure.

From the intercooler outlet the 2.5" mandrel bent piping continues around the core support, with only two gradual radius bends in its entire length, to the lower intercooler pipe bracket before making a straight shot to the throttle body. ETS 4-ply silicone and 100% SS T-bolt clamps are included for every connection to ensure that blown off intercooler piping stays a thing of the past.

ETS Mitsubishi Evolution X Intercooler Upgrade 2008-2013



The obvious tie-in between the UICP and LICP is the ETS EVO X Intercooler. Making certain to hold this unit to the standard of our EVO VIII/IX intercoolers, this unit is a tour de force in efficiency, distribution and flow. The factory inlet and out locations allow for the inlet and outlet to be at diagonally opposing corners of the core. This provides the best possible airflow distribution through the core's height making sure that all charge rows are used effectively. The AutoCAD drawn endtanks are as smooth as on our previous EVO intercooler with aluminum metal forming that looks more like artwork than endtank. Between the tanks is any one of our sizing options with 3", 3.5" or 4" intercoolers as BOLT-ON designs behind the factory crash beam and above the factory undertray. The intercooler is available separately or in a complete kit with UICP and LICP included and black anodizing, ETS stenciled logo, polishing and other options are all available!

The ETS Ralliart intercooler and upper pipe are designed to eliminate the factory restrictions by replacing the small factory intercooler with a larger ETS intercooler and with the ability to support over 1000whp. This intercooler will handle any stock frame or upgraded turbo you can throw at it. The factory Ralliart upper pipe is designed out of a soft rubber hose which expands and ballons under throttle by replacing this with an ETS hard upper pipe you will increase throttle response and horsepower and not have to worry about the factory pipe ballooning and popping off.

ETS air intake system install help

Hi, im kind of new here. I just purchased my ETS air intake system. On the air intake tube there is only one inlet: the oil breather Inlet. There isn't an inlet for me to plug in the factory boost control Solenoid Vaccum hose. What am I supposed to do with the boost control solenoid hose? Any help would be greatly appreciated
