Now onto the post about Tein Monoflex Coils.
We just got them in fresh off the Jet.
The beauty about Tein coils is that they are serviceable domestically in their California facility. This means that when they where out(all dampers will wear out) you can send them in and get them rebuilt for a small fee. It is a fraction the cost of the new damper and gives the same performance.
These also feature the new MSV(Micro Speed Valve). It is a great system it allows the car to really absorb some of the shock from the higher spring rates to give you a nice comfortable ride that still performs very well.

Newly designed and developed for those core drivers seeking the ultimate in street and track performance. Best suited for those drivers whose priority is a high grip level for touge, circuit, and other tarmac driving. Offers both direct feel and a high level of tune-ability that will satisfy the needs of aggressive street and track use. Mono FLEX was tested with high grip tires and/or larger diameter wheels in mind, and are recommended to bring out the full potential of this aggressive suspension system.

A. Upper Mount
Pillowball upper mounts are included, which increase steering response by use of spherical ball bearings. Also includes front camber adjustment on strut type vehicles.
B. Mono-Tube Structure
The use of separate chambers for the hydraulic fluid and nitrogen gas, ensures minimal aeration and provides quick dissipation of heat for consistent handling. Larger valving also provides a larger range of damping force adjustment.
C. Full-Length Ride Height Adjustment System
Allows the user to tune the suspension with separate adjustments for shock/strut length and spring pre-load. This system allows the user to change the vehiclefs ride height without effecting spring rate.
D. 16-level Damping Force Adjustment Feature (combined Compression and Rebound)
16 way damping force adjustment, compression and rebound adjustments are made simultaneously. Specially designed needle valve system allows for damping force adjustment to meet various road and surface
conditions.
E. Micro Speed Valve
Optimizes the low speed damping force range for improved steering response, reduced body roll, and improved stability.
F. Protective Coatings
Teflon and a specially formulated Flourine treatment are given to the exterior of the coilovers for long lasting protection against the elements.
G. Complete Kit
Kit includes pre-assembled shocks, springs and pillow ball upper mounts to ensure optimum settings.
H. Springs
Straight springs are made from high tensile steel, with a strength of 200kgf/sq. mm. Some applications include helper springs.

Inserted between the bracket lock and lower bracket to prevent the loosening of the lock under various conditions.
