Timmy Spec Evo X Adjustable Rear Control Arms

TimmySpec adjustable rear control arms

Track tested on the most grueling road racing event on the planet, the One Lap of America race, TimmySpec Racing Products brings you its fully adjustable rear upper control arms for the 2008-2013 Mitsubishi Evolution X GSR/MR.

TimmySpec adjustable rear control arms lets you go way beyond the wimpy stock adjusters that limit the fun to only about -1.3ish degrees of negative camber. With the TimmySpec arms -2.0 or -2.5 or even hella flush crazy rear camber is just a twist of the center link away. And as we found racing our EvoX in the One Lap of America race the real “magic” doesn’t start to happen until you get to about -1.9 to -2.0 degrees. As a side benefit TimmySpec arms use heim joints on each end eliminating the factory rubber isolated joints which flex like crazy under load and allow for dynamic changes in camber which also can get some nasty changes in rear toe as well. TimmySpec arms hold the camber to where you set it and that makes a huge difference in not only how well your car turns but how predicable it is over different surfaces…and that can benefit everyone..not just the guys looking for lots of rear negative camber.

“if I don’t have rubber bushings in my arm..isn’t it going to be noisy or ruin the ride quality”….Simply put no. In our One Lap testing we not only had to push the car around a race track but we also had to drive it thousands of miles over all sorts of road conditions so ride comfort was a big concern for us too. After 1000′s of miles of testing we couldn’t even tell that the TimmySpec arms were back there. They are that quiet and smooth…

“What about the quality?” TimmySpec arms start with a T6061 center link that is a full 1.25″ thick, gun barrel drilled to add strength, and black anodized for killer looks and corrosion resistance. A knurled end and a wrench flat are included to help with the adjustment and the TimmySpec logo is laser etched to let everyone know you’ve got the real deal. We didn’t skimp on the rod ends either. These are whopping 3/4″ heat treated chromoly rod ends with a Teflon liner so they are super strong, quiet, and never need lubrication. TimmySpec custom machines rod end reducer/spacer bushings out of the same T6061 aluminum as the center link and black anodizes them again, for a killer look and corrosion resistance. We designed our adjustable control arms to use the factory hardware so installation requires nothing more then a few simple tools and a tape measure.

Made with the highest quality parts and materials, engineering right here in the USA, and track tested on the One Lap of America race..TimmySpec adjustable control arms have it all at an affordable price!

100% made in the USA!
