We want our cars to perform like they're full blown race setups but we cringe at the thought of being uncomfortable on the daily drive to work on what are usually (lets face it) shoddy city roads. We want comfort, but we want performance.

The DSG Edition 500 Series Coilovers have been put together for the daily driver/weekend warrior to be the ideal street and track use coilover setup. We have built these with great consideration to our customers feedback for the perfect blend of comfort and performance, something you can use on a daily basis and still kick it at the track. By blending Fortune's top available upgrades, higher quality oils, tested spring rates & throwing in a bit of DSG attitude - this is a perfect bolt on balanced solution for the average Evo owner. I've installed and tested these on my own Evo X and boys, they are fantastic. Comfortable with a point and go attitude. They completely transformed how my car reacts and feels. I can easily say, these are by far my favorite mod I've done to the car thus far in terms of handling vs power.

Every DSG LIMITED Edition 500 Series Coil gets the same treatment as Fortune's top of the line leading Dreadnought series. Hand assembled and inspected, each package comes with a signed Certificate of Assembly & Shock Dyno Sheet.

As with ALL Fortune Auto Coilovers, these will be hand assembled and shipped upon completion. Fortune requires roughly 2-4 weeks for total processing and assembly.



9k Front / 9k Rear Balanced Spring Rates:

Despite the popularity of stiffer rear springs with many manufacturers, the Evo X suspension setup is optimized for a balanced front to rear ratio's. This allows the customer to really fine tune their driving style and setup, by installing a rear sway bar you can effectively raise the rates in the rear if so desired. With the ability to adjust via the way bar, you can change your style for on and off track days. We chose a 9k / 9k spring rate as we find it to be the perfect blend of stiff vs soft. Comfortable on the road without jarring the passengers, but tight enough to handle the sharpest of turns.


Swift Springs Standard:

Because they kick ***. Swift Springs are some of the best springs in the entire world, by including them with the coilovers you are essentially upgrading every aspect of the setup. Adding comfort, compliance and reduced noise and weight.


Upgraded AMSoil Synthetic Shock Oil Standard:

We added upgraded AMSOIL Synthetic Fluid normally reserved for the Dreadnaught line of Coils which significantly limits shock fade and inconsistent dampening, providing a drastically smoother function. Constant friction in a shock body decreases suspension performance while causing scuffing and wear on the inner walls. AMSOIL Suspension Fluid contains friction modifiers to reduce frictional energy loss and heat buildup. Anti-wear agents protect against premature scuffing and wear, while maintaining proper suspension absorption.


Radial Bearings Standard:

Radial Bearings are designed to reduce unwanted noises often associated with aftermarket coilovers such as "Clunks" & "Twangs". No one who is daily driving wants to have embarrassing noises coming from their car, bothering you and being embarrassing. Its like squeaky brake syndrome. You have brembo's, not poor quality brakes but with OEM pads they can turn heads at low speeds. Not in the good way. Radial Bearings put and end to coilover noise.


Rear Helper Adjusters FREE:

Included free with all DSG Edition 500's, Rear Adjusters are designed to allow you to remotely adjust your rear dampening. Due to confined space, adjusting the rear dampening can be a bit of a pain. These allow for a clean install for those who wish to retain their trunk lining and plastic "guard" for the battery area. You simply install these to the coils and run them right over the plastic so they are cleanly left in the trunk compartment. Turn the dial, adjust the dampening!
