Cobb Tuning Evo X Sport Springs

https://i241.photobucket.com/albums/...cts/952750.jpg

The Cobb Sport Springs for the Evo X are a great improvement over stock springs. The Cobb Sport Springs for the Evo X will lower the car 1 & 5/16 inches in the front and 1 & 3/8 in the rear. Both the front and rear springs are 10% stiffer over the stock springs. The Cobb Sport Springs have a sporty feel without being overly bouncy or harsh. The springs are constructed from a chrome silicone steel and powder coated blue to protect them from corrosive road grime. These springs will improve road handling, reduced body roll, and give your Evo X a more aggressive stance.

Cobb Tuning Evo X Front Sway Bar

https://i241.photobucket.com/albums/...cts/952220.jpg

The Cobb front sway bar for the Evo X is a great improvement over the weak stock unit. Cobb Tuning Sway Bars are CNC bent to ensure a perfect fit. They're also tubular in order to reduce weight. The front sway bar is 2 position adjustable with a 108% or 125% increase of rigidity over stock. All Cobb Sway Bars are powder coated to prevent corrosion and feature bar locators to prevent bar walk. These sway bars come with polyurethane bushings and busing mounts with grease fittings for easy maintenance. The Cobb Sway Bars are a great way to dramatically reduce body roll and improve handling of your Evo X.

Caster is the angle at that the steering knuckle rotates on. Adding caster can make your Evo X turn in faster by providing a larger contact patch as the wheels turn on the steering axis.

A Perrin PSRS is an anti-lift kit (ALK) designed to prevent wheel lift under hard acceleration in cornering. The anti-lift part of the kits are a very small feature compared to the overall benefits gained from using the solid connection the PSRS provides. The PSRS replaces the front control arm's rear bushing. The Evo's OEM bushing is designed to be compliant to reduce NVH, making the ride more comfortable. The compliancy of the Mitsubishi OEM bushing is not something a performance oriented driver is looking for.

Eliminating the Evo's rubber OEM bushings provides significant improvement in how the car steers during hard cornering and even improves handling and stability in a straight line.

Perrin Performance Evo X Zero Caster PSRS

https://i241.photobucket.com/albums/...EP-SUS-401.jpg

Perrin Performance's Evo X PSRS Zero kit provides a solid bushing and maintains the OEM bushing's centered "control arm to subframe" mounting point. This centered hole keeps caster at factory settings, which is required for some racing classes (refer to your organization's rules to determine if bushing that offer caster adjustments are permitted). The Perrin PSRS Zero kit might be a better fit and reduce rubbing if you are running aggressive (larger) wheel fitments.
Price: $189 shipped

Perrin Performance Evo X Adjustable Caster PSRS

https://i241.photobucket.com/albums/...EP-SUS-400.jpg

The Perrin Performance Evo X PSRS kit with caster adjustment also provides a solid bushing, but relocates the "OEM control arm to subframe" mounting point to be off-center. The non-concentric hole allows your (or your installer or alignment specialist) to rotate the bushing to adjust your Evo's caster (some racing classes do not allow for an offset bushing, refer to your organization's rules for legality). The adjustable Perrin Evo PSRS can provide nearly 1.5 degrees of additional caster to your Evo X.
Price: $189 shipped

Perrin Performance Evo X 25mm Adjustable Rear Sway Bar

https://i241.photobucket.com/albums/...EP-SUS-220.jpg

The Perrin Performance 25mm Rear Sway Bar will keep your Evo X from leaning and rolling through turns: firming up the rear suspension and providing better tire contact/grip through those twisty roads. Built from solid steel, the Perrin Performance Rear Sway Bar comes powder coated red for the ultimate in both strength and durability. Evo owners can choose from three separate mounting positions for a 125%, 153% or 186% increase in rear end rigidity over the stock 23mm stock sway bar.

The Perrin 25mm Adjustable Rear Sway Bar also includes mounting brackets and custom spiral-cut urethane sway bar bushings designed to eliminate noise and minimize re-greasing.

Whiteline Evo X Control Arm Bushing Kit

https://i241.photobucket.com/albums/...ucts/W0593.jpg

To get the utmost control from your Evolution X, you need to upgrade any factory bushing you can! The Whiteline Urethane Control Arm Bushings are stiffer than the soft rubber OEM bushings and will transmit more feedback from the road, through tires, up to the steering wheel through the chassis. You will hear more noise and feel more vibration and harshness, but nothing that would prevent your Evo X from being daily drivable. Whiteline bushing kits include items shown in pictures plus grease for use during installation.
Price: $84 shipped

Whiteline Evo X Roll Center Correction Kit

https://i241.photobucket.com/albums/...cts/KCA395.jpg

Lowering the ride height of your Evo X can be a very effective modification; enhancing handling by creating a lower vehicle center of gravity and giving the car an aggressive look by minimizing wheel gap. Unfortunately, once the stock ride height has been altered, the front end roll-center is modified as well. This can actually make your car handle worse than stock when carving out those deep corners! The Mitsubishi Evo X is especially prone to this effect due to exact tolerances in which the stock suspension geometry was designed; in many cases realigning the stock suspension so that the roll-center is actually below pavement level.

The suspension gurus at Whiteline have developed the perfect cure to this ailment: the Whiteline Roll Center Correction Kit. The Whiteline Roll Center Correction Kit realigns the suspension geometry of your lowered Evo X, raising the front roll-center and creating a substantial increase in front roll resistance and a significant reduction in suspension compression on the outside of the front wheels during cornering. While it may not sound like much, the advantages to this theory are drastic. The Whiteline Roll Center Correction Kit for the Evo X will improve front end weight distribution, maintain a better camber angle and ultimately improve front end grip. You will also experience a reduction in understeer as well as improved steering feel, precision and overall vehicle stability. A great modification for a stock Evo X, but an absolute must if your Evo is running with a lowered ride height!
