Evo 9 + ETS PT6262 turbo kit
Tuned a ETS PT6262 Evo 9 yesterday.
Nice kit ETS! http://powerpages.tumblr.com/post/47...6262-turbo-kit |
Thats a nice gain from an extra 5psi! I'm guessing going to E85 and C16 will require new boxers.

The E85/116 numbers are going to be what everyone wants to see Bryan, keep it coming :) Nice work so far!

Tom I was impressed with the kit. Nice 02 housing. The WG is a bit close to the power steering line but I think that is a simple fix by just bending the line away. btw, I think the 38mm Tial might be a tad too small, was getting some odd boost oscillation in 4th right at full boost. I'm not 100% it's the Tial yet though. |
The o2 housing is the only 3" on the market, and we're pretty proud of it, so thanks!
At the boost levels you're reaching I doubt that you'll have control issues since we've been down to rock solid base pressure (1 bar) without any spiking on a bigger kit. It's always possible you got a bad gate, but we just never have that problem with Tials. Let me know what you find out :) Tom |
nice numbers, cant wait to see what she makes on some Q16 and E85

nicely done Bryan

dont you think 365whp/289wtq is a little low on pump gas ?
|
Intresting. I did a road tune on a 6262 a short while ago, seems like it wants more then your average pumpgas to make big numbers..Sill waiting to crank it up though..Thanks for sharing once again.

Im going to try and make at least 450 on pump with this turbo..If i make 360-370hp and 280-300tq on this, with pump (93)... See you later 6262 {thumbdwn} Would like to know if that 3562 would bolt up to ets kit |
^ Mustang vs. Dynojet...do your research.

Secondly, thanks for the great kit Tom and the ETS crew! I'm pretty happy with the spool. As mentioned by Bryan, there is a little weird boost issue with it. I'll be posting a video shortly (compilation of dyno pulls). Check out the 4th gear pull at the end. You'll see what he's talking about! As for this pump gas question, NO! My car was making 308whp and 298wtq on 91 and stock turbo with cams. And I was running 12.3 @ 111 with that setup. That's an average 350whp dynojet car. So I gained almost 60whp on pump gas with this turbo kit. And the fact that you have 93 octane available is a big difference too. I wouldn't doubt with 93 we could be around 380whp no problem. And although I'm really someone who hates dyno racing and all that crap, on average, Dynojets read about 15% higher. So doing the math, that would be around 430whp on 91. Add the 93 and retune and it would be around 450whp on 93 octane! Hope that helps. {thumbup} |
Here are video links. If they don't work, I'm not sure why not. Some people have been able to view them, some haven't. And it's too long for regular youtube.
