My 03 came with 3 miles on it. I told the dealer not to detail my car, that i would do it myself. If you have any doubts, just wait for another shipment.

DONT WORRY get a GOOOD PRICE.

happy riding

Unless he did a couple of 5K clutch drops.

I dunno dude. 20 Miles is not that big of a deal. I mean, 4 miles is plenty to do 1000 5000rpm clutch drops. I would go for the discount and take the car. I think it will be fine.

There are no other shipments.

He has been allocated one Evolution in the past 6 months -- Mine. He always has to go to other dealerships when someone wants to buy them. Except when he first got them in when they first hit. He enforced a $5,000 deposit for anyone who wanted to test drive it, because he didn't want to deliver to the eventual buyer a joyridden car.

I wouldn't worry about 20 miles. I highly doubt any damage was done. Even if it was revved high and launched a few times it will be fine. If it had 100 hard miles it would be a different story. If your worried about early clutch failure tell them and get it in writing that they will replace the clutch no questions asked if it fails within 20k or so miles.

Spoot its not like you are buying a one of a kind limited edition condom that some dude busted nuts in. I would be annoyed but I wouldn't back out of a deal over that.

Sounds to me like the dealership is doing everything they can and I would work with them. Your concern should be on the future not the past and I would ask for a written ackowledgement that the car may have been abused and any warranty work WILL be performed if necessary. (assuming you don't mod it).

Not trying to be negative or anything,as I work for a Dealership (not mitsu),but has anyone ever seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off? Anyone remember the parking garage attendents that took good care of the ferrari????,Ferris even tipped them for taking such good care of the car, everything was cool until Cameron noticed the odometer had a lot of miles on it,anyone, anyone????To make a long story short it happens all the time, alot more than you could ever fathom.Sorry to break the news, but it is usually done by some 16-20 year old lube tech that has never driven something like it and can't wait to tell all of his buddy's about driving it.I wouldn't worry about them beating on it though as most can barely drive a standard and would be scared to do a foot jack,or even a 7k shift to second.Sorry to break the news, and it really sucks, but happens all the time.

the dealership can say screw you... take the car or leave it, either way they are going to sell it. They may knock off a few hundred if your lucky but don't expect thousands. It sucks to hear someone beating on the car... I would have them just change the oil for you.

Don't take it. Either make them get a new one or get a gsr -1500 for your troubles. Or ask for 4000 off because of the possible abuse to the car. If they say no take the down payment back
