IMO the best thing you could do is try to get him to sign a form saying that THEY will never cancel the warranty. Then take it and mod the crap out of it. Yes it is a slightly used car, but they wont sell it for much less knowing that they could sell it to some other unsuspecting buyer.

Dude, that blows. I'd say get a discount or demand a new one be sent to you. Sounds like you've been waiting for this a long time so it seems silly to get an S4 or something of the sorts

I'm a pain about this stuff too. I told my mitsu dealership to not even take off the shipping plastic. I didn't want them taking it to a detailer and having something like this happening. Plus, my car will NEVER see a power buffer.

I had a similar experience with my Stealth Twin Turbo. I took it in for service at Dodge and some punk that pulls cars around did an AWD burnout and took it for a high speed lap around the block while I watched him from the showroom.

That was his last day at the dealership. I seriously wanted to assault him, he's lucky there's such a thing as social control. (aka, police and big guys to *** rape you in prison is enough of a deterrent for me) They put a new clutch in it for free the same day.

Demand a brand new vehicle at a lower price or with certain options not offered to be included in the price or you will take you business elsewhere due to the inconvenience you've been caused(and they know that "word of mouth is a *****"). I personally would'nt take a car that had been driven before at a new car price. Just use your poker face man, sales people(especially car sales people) will do what they have to do to sell a car.

Spoot, best of luck with the "New" MR. I hope it's as good to you as mine has been to me. 1200mi, and the only complaint I have is the damn floormat sliding around.

chances are the bastards that joyrode it redline the **** out of it and drove it like complete jackasses. I would refuse that car, have them send a new one and insist that it be left as is off the truck until your inspection. Do the deal as they PDI and do NOT let them sublet it out to a detail shop. Clean it yourself. It isn't hard to peel plastic and wash cars.

Why would you immediately change the oil? mitsu recommends 1000 miles oil change.

yeah, pivots around and rolls up between the dead pedal and clutch. Just got some thick Momo mats so I can put the embroidered MR ones in the garage.
