Panizi drives the evo 9
cool vids. most rally drivers i seen use heal-toe alot not this guy he just downsift without matching the engine speed. I belive that will make him lose time as he has to make up for the lost RPM's.
Nice Video. The car looks sick. Love the front.
IMO Mitsubishi marketing sucks. They should release this stuff after most the 05's and MR's are sold and not promote new hot stuff until it's about to be released. Stuff like this only makes buyers wait and the dealers wonder why they have cars left on their lot!!

1) road handling: the car feels more stable, firmer and more precise therefore faster in the twisties.
2) turbo response: there is less turbo lag and greater turbo response and the car has more low end power.

"The good news is that all the good stuff that comes on the EVO VIII MR will make it onto the IX as standard."
"Under the hood, expect the output of the turbocharged, intercooled and otherwise epic 2.0 liter, DOHC, 16-valve 4G63 four to increase from the MR's 276 hp (on at least one of the various models) past the 300-hp barrier to something around 310-315 ponies."
At first I didn't like the new front end but after watching this video ... it looks nice and I can't wait to see one in person! They've kept the same hood and just changed the bumper up front, seems it might be easy to change out on an 8... only time will tell. I could use a new front bumper anyways after all the rock chips
