I noticed that too. Also, they should have not painted those side vents, it looks DIY.

The intercooler piping looks to be positioned differently. So it wont be looking as nice and even as other evos.

my problem with the evo X is that it does not do much to differentiate itself from the Lancer GTS... Disappointing styling almost to the point of sheer cornyness

DAM i HATE this colour hahaha...and the front chrome crap sux sooo much too. Need some real Evo treatment on it...too much colour coding on vents, need'em black like real Evo's.

I'm trying really hard to get into the looks of a X but it's a continuing struggle. I think this one may be like the 350z for me and just never quite make it to the "that looks good" category.

The X looks more refined than previous evos, but it is a bit chunky. Previous gens
had a lean and mean look, but a bit more on the cheap side.

Fatter and refined v.s. lean and cheap. That's sort of the issue in the looks.

Imagine an X with basically the same look but not so tall, sort of flatten it, with door not that high
and rear not that fat, we would have a better looking thing. (Photo shop? horizontal stretch?)
