As I said it is not a next gen evolution it is a new breed. Thus it does not appeal to me and to many of the current evo owners. I'll buy a new sti when they enter my price range.
When's the last time you've seen a drag car from japan? Hardly ever. They dont engineer cars for drag like we have muscle cars and all that that were made for racing and all that. They produce cars for an all around driving experience. If u know circut racing there are so many in japan. There is more to a car other than 0-60 speed. how about 70-120? Ever seen that ford commerical or somethin. That kind of speed is needed with a really good handling as its been known since the beginning the Evolution was engineered for as it was a rally car. Even if the car had 200hp from factory it still would get around the circut very fast and it would surprise u what it would beat. The car puts u in the back of the seat.

MITSU IS TRYING TO BE EVERYTHING TO EVERYBODY, RALLY CAR, LUXURY CAR, RACE CAR. THIS IS HOW YOU LOSE YOUR IDENTITY AND MITSU IS ON IT's WAY TO DOING THAT WITH THE EVO. STICK TO ONE THING AND GO WITH IT

it is marketed more toward mainstraim people. Most buyers probably wouldn't bother racing any srt-4's anyway. Mitsu has changed it's direction and moved "up" just like all the manufacturers did a while ago. Look at honda, nissan etc. everybody nowadays wants luxury, and that's where the money's at
