So another positive review!?!! How horrible!!

Oh the doom of the Evo is ever so near with all of these positive reviews!!! Damn you Mitsubishi!!! Making a car with a SST option that could outshift superman driving stick, and overall better handling & a overall more mature ride that nobody is complaining about!! You're killing the Evo!!!

*runs and cries in his room under his Evo III poster... the last great Evo*

I thought this was an Evo forum not **** and moan about one of it's upcoming brothers.
Healthy skepticism isn't nearly the same thing as 'pissing and moaning' so save your exaggerations for another day. I'm sure the new X will be great car, but don't be surprised if everyone isn't soiling themselves with anticipation.

Healthy skepticism? So you are telling me that when people pick and choose only the bad things from reviews and overlook the good things and only decide to talk about those that's being a skeptic and not a "hater"?

Edited

I re-read your posts and you make legitimate observations.

I can't speak for others, but I try to weigh all the facts rationally before coming to a conclusion.

I'll definitely be looking forward to driving the X and determining for myself. I'm not an early adopter, so I'll eavesdrop on the development of the first tuned X's with just as much interest as any Evo enthusiast.

Once upon a time, there were plenty of people who frowned on the 8's when they brought them stateside because of the lack of ACD and other issues. The initial problems everyone had with the clutches didn't help things out, but it all got sorted out in the end.

I think there is something to be said, about the raw nature and lack of electronic wizardry, that works in favor of the USDM evo 8.
