2011 Evo now confirmed
Nothing. Its just typical badge whoriness. Ten years ago when I first started selling Mitsubishis it was very common to see doctors, lawyers, engineers (you know, the smart people that are only supposed to buy upscale imports) come in to the service drive with loaded Diamantes, Monteros and 3000GT VR4's cars that listed in the high 30's and onto into the mid 40's back in the late 90's. Of course there was the occasional 60K VR4 Spyder as well. Mitsu used to have that kind of brand cachet back then as mid step up above the typical Honda, Toyota or Nissan, but had more style and better looks then most Acuras, Lexus and Infinitis did of the day. It would be nice if Mitsu could recover that image.
And ive owned a nissan, opel, toyota and BMW.

all the way
I don't know where these people are getting this information from but you guys may wanna take a look at this...

You guys, Mitsu didn't have MY 07 evos in the US because of side airbag requirements, so they produced an abundance of 06 evos and those are what sold in 07. For 08, the economy sucked, the new evos weren't hot sellers like previous model years, and that led to the unfortunate reality that dealers had tons of 08s left on the lots. Why bring in 09s when the 08s aren't selling? So Mitsu sold those first and just brought MY 10 evos over.
If Mitsu is bringing a new package as described earlier, why on earth would they still call it a MY 10 and not a MY 11? That makes no sense. There is no rhyme or reason. Think this through logically, based on what I presented above. I would place my bet on the table that there WILL be a MY 11 evo.
Just my two cents.

man I am ready to buy, where are the 11's!!
reason I am not jumping on a 10 right away is this:
Will cost almost the same to get a 2010 as a 2011
if indeed 2012 goes hybrid diesel the 2011 will hold its value being the "last" gas evo
Hope the GSR gets the leather/sunroof package.
Wish they would go ahead and at least let us know what we have to look forward to, subaru released info on theirs months ago.

whoa, there is really not going to be any 2011 evolution X or XI for that matter. I copied it from the link because they can always change the link and show the updated one if there is one. but so far, as per june 2010 it looks like there is not going to be a 2011 evolution for next year.
