Not only Hong Kong. They sold a lot of big trucks but not in North America. I saw it twice in Canada.

One of their newest truck has hybrid diesel and twice clutch system(I call it a big EVO XI truck!!!).

Hold on to your Mitsubishi's they are going to be collectors items when the next article they publish is how they are going under.

Sadly they have done this to themselves. They have created a lineup of cars that no one wants. I mean in all honesty, every car in their lineup sucks (the evo is the only car thats not terrible). For every vehicle they are now producing, there is a counterpart that makes more hp and gets more MPG.

Hell just look at what put them on the map... innovation.

DSM's
VR4
REAL Evo's

The rest of the automotive world caught on and made it better while mitsubishi did nothing but take enormous steps backwards... They have done the same thing for too long and now look. Great effing job mitsubishi.

Looks like the STI is going to stand alone.

That right there makes my dick hard. I want one so badly. I'm even considering buying the base model in the mean time in hopes of a future sport model release. Mind you I probably won't trade an my Evo in for it but I want one. May even make a half decent AutoX car and with a projected $13k price tag on the base model that's not too shabby.

A little more horse power would have been nice in the base model, bigger wheels would have helped styling, and WTF why does the base model have rear drum breaks. I can't find rear disk conversations for the lancers and this is gonna be even more fun. Other then that I still like it and its 44mpg, low wieght, and cheap price tag. But they could have done better to help market the car. If it looked more sporty it would at least be easier to sell. But we shall see...

The downfall of Mitsubishi is there marketing department. Ive been looking forward to a new colt release for years now and the best they can do is a base model bottom of the barrel release.

Those trucks are really amazing. My company has 1 new one and one old one.
I am especially liking that Hybrid-diesel auto tc beast. If only newer cars were revolutionary as the trucks are.
ps. Daimler owns Mitsubishi trucks tho.

I can completely understand that its not for every one but I'm in love. I cant wait to bust someones azz on the track with one, its gonna be great. I've own just about every Mitsubishi ever made in the US and I've always loved the 5th Gen Mirages and honestly the 2014 is similar to the weight to power ratio of a 2000 Mirage DE Coupe 1.5L SOHC and that was a surprisingly peppy car for what it was. With a little bit of modification i think the new Mirage is gonna be a lot of cheap fun. Weight to power ratio can go a long long way if done properly. Specially if there's room to bolt a Sirius II motor in it. muhahahaha

I am officially waiting to buy one of the base models come September.

So much ignorance to what it truly is... its sad.

I personally love it but what did you expect when your limited to a 1.6L motor for the next generation. Your not going to be able to pull that off in a fifty ton Evo X shell and whos gonna buy it when you can buy an older 2.0L. Got to start a new with a whole new concept. Light weight gives it a killer power to weight ratio to make it just as quick as previous Evolution models and it will be.

I cant wait, lol.

It is just a personal preference.
An older 2.0L has more power, but it is older.
Many people claim that IX is faster and lighter than X, but it is also older.

A car that weights LESS than 2000 with around 150 might not seem like much, but it would feel pretty quick. And should get nice gas mileage with a 1.5 3cyl. wendy's lunch time surveyzop.com
