Hi Paul,
I was expecting them in the middle of this month, but it looks like they will be here around the first of July. You can come in and put a down payment to secure one. Let me know if you are interested in doing that and we can go over the details
Thanks,

lol.. our mark-up isn't $10,000. It's $15,000. That's not too much now, is it? lol.. Think nothing of it, for you will get a better deal with us than any other dealership. This is why we are #1 in Southern California. We blow em out like no tomorrow.
How come EVERY dealer I've been to has been #1 in their area? Usually for several years running too. "We are the number 1 dealer in the south for the last 10 years running, and we move more volume than any other dealer in the state!". Seems I've heard that all before.
Just an observation.

Its a mindtrick that dealerships like to use, its to give you reassurance that your not getting screwed because you think your buying from "The Best".

That's very true. It's a tactic used among most dealerships to make the customer feel comforted. In this case, however, I encourage to you view the TOP 25 via the Mitsubishi Corporate website. I guess it's time to give EVO's away.

Thanks,
I never get the point of pegging and gouging folks for a car. You get them once, but you never get them again. Give it to them for MSRP, treat them well, and they'll come back for yet another car. Why get them for $10K once when you can get them for 20 years?
Seriously. My dealership didn't gouge the '03 Evos, and he won't gouge on the MR either. MSRP is his limit, and he probably will give folks at least $500 off that. We're already starting to talk money based on the ballpark figures we expect the car to be in, and he's figuring depending on the price of the car, he'll charge me $1500 - $2000 under MSRP. Plus any offers that may apply. Plus the 20% I get off parts and service for buying the car there.
Guess what? If he has a car I want, I'll probably go back to him again in another 5 years.

MisterSpoot, maybe just mabye some of the dealers on here will realize what you just said. Some of us have contact with lots of people and customers and if a dealership makes me happy buy not trying to screw me, then guess what not only do you have my money your going to get a lot more peoples money as well, not that is business 101.

Im assuming that your claiming that your dealership made the Top 25 dealers in America/Regional. I managed to do a search on Mitsubishi's website (both the motor division and general corporate) and didnt see anything about Santa Monica Mitsubishi or a Top 25 listing, could you provide a link to this information?
Although I did manage to find some reviews on Santa Monica Mits, You should check em out.

Also According to the Better Business Bureau, Santa Monica Mitsubishi has an Unsatisfactory record with the Bureau.
Doesn't sound like material that would make the top 25 Dealers in america/regional to me.
