Correct, no '03, '04, or '05 Evo sold in the U.S. has AYC. The '05 is the first to get ACD.

 

It's not black there bub... It's gray. Might be a slight tinge darker gray they the car.

 

they are making improvements but still not up to where they lead us on to think it was going to be I wouldn't at all be surprised if when the Evo 9 hits the market it has more of these upgrades.

Hey erikj, you had an interesting point with the ic sprayer, but I think it has to do with the FIA rules. This year, WRC is not allowed to have ic sprayers and an active center differential on the cars being used. Maybe the IX is homologous with the new WRC car, but I'm not sure.

 

I'll be getting a MR just for the 6 speed, and whatever else mitsu graciously gives the MR.

For all you people who are putting downpayments on the 9 that doesnt have it in writing... My realy good friend works for a local mitsu dealership and i told him about it and he said its damn near illegal to take a downpayment on a car unless they have VINs. and could also keep your downpayment and not have to give you anything or put it towards your purchase. I doubt any of the dealers would do this, but im just relaying the message so you dont get jacked...
