Has your dealer clued you in on an exact MSRP yet because that seems to be the big question that everyone has been asking???

It wont be above 37 I can say for sure. Its not like I dont have the money to pay for it, so money isnt an issue with me.

Hey money bags, I don't care how rich you are you never want to pay more for anything if you can avoid it! Good Luck though

EVOTEXAS Aug 31, 2004 10:56 AM

A fool and his money are soon parted. ;)

pfft screw off, I have been waiting for this car since the MR made its debut in Japan. Im tired of waiting. Besides Im doing a trade in sooooo, my car is gonna get me atleast $30,000 so.

how can a dealer have a customer order a car without giving him a price, i mean since your signing a contract at the time of order (they are buildign the car to your specs) i'd have to say they need a price otherwise you could back out when the car gets here and they are left to sell it... ya i know big deal its an MR but what if you had ordered some piss color and random stuff that no one wanted to buy.... When i placed my name o nthe list for the lotus it was a refundable deposit and when it comes time to order then you will have a price, and the car will be built to your spec... after that its no backing out unless u want to loose your deposits... And there is a way bigger demand for that car then there will ever be fore an evolution, MR eddition or not

Congrats on your new car, or shall I say soon to be .... what color are you getting? and please do post pics of your car inside and out? I'm interesting in knowing what its like (especially those vortex roof spoiler), how the 6 speed shifter feels etc ..... Also let us know what the MSRP is when you can. I want to get an MR but unfortunately money is an issue for me ..... I guess I'm not as lucky .....

Whatever any of you do, do not agree to pay a dime over MSRP!

brandon Aug 31, 2004 11:53 AM

Ladies and Gentleman, get ready for the the bout.

In the red corner, we have "The Outlaw", a motivated MR buyer!
In the Blue corner, we have "The Salesman", a motivated Seller!

This should be a great match-up!

OK round one... Ding, Ding, Ding... EEEEWWWW, OOHHHHH, the Salesmen strikes first, it's a huge dealer mark-up on the New and long-awaited Evo MR. The Outlaw is staggered but not out... Blam... Bang... Boom... the Salesman tag-teams with "The Finance Guy" and the finishing blow is delivered, a very low trade-in value on the Outlaws BMW!

"The Outlaw" is defeated, and being so overly motivated, that he signs the line which is dotted and he is knocked out cold. Ding!

"The Salesman" retains his Champion of the car-sale Title.

J/K kidding BTW... :)
