Nothing is required except a serial cable.. There's no CD because there's no software required other than what your PC already has..

Go to the TurboXS website and download the documentation for the EVO UTEC.. also when you get it, see what version of the firmware it has.. I would reflash it regardless so it resets all of the maps and parameters that might have been set that your not aware of.

I also just bought a used UTEC with switch. A little nervous about buying used, but I could not pass up the deal.

How do you go about reflashing the UTEC? I also bought a used one, and I'm not exactly sure what I have to have done before I go in to get it tuned. I read the manual and the install seems really easy, and even the basic start-up/PC procedures, but I didn't notice a mention of "re-flashing." Thanks.

Its pretty easy.. Download the new flash Docs from TurboXS and it has a clear set of instructions on how to do it.. If you have any maps on your UTEC you want to save, you should save them before reflashing.

very easy. Once you get familiar with the hyperterminal menus its all very straight through.
