Strange cut-out
I have been experiencing a strange cut-out.
Here's what's happening:
Accelerate up to cruising speeds, no problem. Once cruising for 5-20 seconds, power drops off, my tuner reads way lean (20:1 more more), if I hold the pedal it'll just keep missing, if I get into the gas, it accelerates, but have a positive miss (like running on 3 cylinders).
Here's whats really weird, if I just let off and get right back in it, the miss goes away for 10-30 seconds. I have to keep doing this for a few minutes, the time between episodes increases, until after about 3-5 minurtes it goes away completely.
If I stop and shut down the motor, then get in afer a little while it starts all over.
It seems like an ECU thing. I was having a miss under load at high boost. I changed from NGKs back to a set of used Denso plugs (with 2k miles on them) and replaced my magnacor wires with the stockers. This fixed the miss under boost but now this crap is happening.
Any chance this is Utec related?
